Important Security Notice Regarding Impersonation Scams

Wevr, Inc. has become aware that fraudsters are using our company name, branding, and employee likenesses in a scam scheme. These individuals are contacting victims to solicit "investments" for creating content or niches.

Please be advised:
We do NOT operate an "agency" model
asking for third-party investment.
We will NEVER ask you
to spend, invest, or transfer your own money as a condition of employment or partnership.

We do NOT hire
via Telegram, WhatsApp, or unsolicited text messages.

Communication Protocols All official hiring and business communications will originate strictly from an email address ending in @wevr.com.

While we do engage with our community via Discord, official job offers will always be confirmed via an official email. Never hesitate to ask for email verification from anyone claiming to represent us.

Reporting Fraud
If you have been contacted by a suspicious party or a website claiming to be Wevr that is not listed above, please do not engage or pay them. Report the incident immediately to fraud-report <at> wevr.com. Please include information about the site used, and the platform in which they used to communicate with you. Any additional information like name or phone number of people you spoke to.

If you are the victim of fruad

While we cannot provide legal advice or investigate individual cases, we strongly recommend you take the following steps immediately

  1. Stop all communication Do not reply to the scammers. Do not try to "withdraw" your money from their platform, as they may use this to extract more personal data.
  2. Contact your financial institution If you have sent money (wire, bank transfer, or crypto), contact your bank or exchange immediately to report the fraud.
  3. Protect your Identity If you sent them your ID or Social Security Number, visit IdentityTheft.gov to secure your credit profile.

WARNING: Watch out for "Recovery Scams" Be careful of anyone claiming they can "hack" the scammers to get your money back. These are often the same scammers trying to steal from you a second time. legitimate law enforcement will never ask for a fee to investigate.
